5a7: Art-Up Speakers Hangout

art-up

Come meet the four Art-Up presenters at the TAG 5a7 on Thursday for a roundtable discussion, after the Art-Up talks!

Art-Up aims to be a miniature interdisciplinary art conference for gaming and creativity, recurring every three months (one for each season). The talks cover everything ranging from interactive art, to indie games, comics, zines, music and more. Art-Up is organized by MRGS with this season’s sessions supported by TAG.

The guests for the Fall 2016 Art-Up are:
LEISHA RIDDEL, Visual Development Artist: “Side Hustles: How to Manage your Time and Energy”
CHRISTINA LOUISE, Zinemaker: “Getting Revenge”
JON REMEDIOS, Game Designer & Developer: “Searching for Harmony: A Tale of Game Design and Personal Neuroses”
SAMANTHA LERICHE-GIONET aka BOUM, Cartoonist & Mom extraordinaire: “4000 Panels”

Go see the talks on Wednesday at 6:30pm at L’Artère (7000 av du Parc), then join us on Thursday for a casual roundtable discussion at 5pm in TAG.

One of the goals of Art-Up is to bring more people to the community and help us to have an even more diverse and inclusive group, so we encourage a lot non-gamers to come, as the events are not only about video games.
