Critical Hit is an innovative summer videogame program run at Concordia in partnership with the TAG Lab, Dawson Cegep, Decode Global, Hexagram and GRAND NCE. This is the first of a three year program that is funded by a three year grant from the Quebec Ministry of Education Leisure and Sport.

The focus of Critical hit was the development of experimental games motivated by contemporary social, cultural and political concerns. Its mission is to foster collaboration and creativity amongst the next generation of game designers while pushing the expressive potential of video games.
This year there are four teams and four games that cover a range of topics from environmentalism to war. For more information on the games see: www.criticalhitmontreal.ca/games.

Your attendance would be a great chance to meet with the TAG lab and our partners, to play the games, and join us in celebration of the great things that are happening at Concordia. Guestlist is required for the event, so please RSVP at criticalhitshowcase.eventbrite.ca.
