Pleasure Consuming Games Workshop

When: Friday, September 22 and Saturday, September 23,
Where: EV Building, Resource Room 11.705 Concordia University SGW, 1515 Sainte-Catherine St. W.
What: Milieux will be hosting a 2 day workshop exploring the pleasures of contemporary, digital games alongside their pleasure-consuming potentialities and propensities.

The format is:
Day 1 (Friday) – Scholarly Opining with Bart Simon, Mia Consalvo, Laureline Chiapello (U de M) and David Nieborg (U of Toronto).
Day 2 (Saturday) – Consuming Dota 2 with Andrei Zanescu (MA Media Studies) and colleagues, followed by panel discussion and workshops on freemium games and video slots.
