This Friday the 15th Maude Bonenfant will be giving a talk titled: “A philosophical definition of game/play: how to have an ethical experience of a videogame?”
The talk will be held in the Hexagram Resource room (EV 11.705) at 1 PM.
Maude Bonenfant is a TAG’s postdoctoral researcher and is teaching at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). She has completed a doctoral thesis in semiology on the video game World of Warcraft and the concept of game, the space of appropriation and the questions of ethics. In her postdoctoral research, she is interested in the aesthetic experience of the players of video games.
