Propinquity Playtest

Posted by Carolyn

We’re currently looking for playtesters for several new games being developed for the Propinquity platform. Propinquity is a full body interface and was originally designed as a hybrid fighting and dancing game. The playtest takes place this Thursday, Oct. 25, in the Video Production Lab (EV 10-760, 10th floor on the fine arts side of the EV building, 1515 St. Catherine St. West).

Each session will take approximately 2 hours.

There are two types of games: statue/ninja games and tethering games.

Games will be played in groups of 2 and 4 so if you and/or your friends are interested please let us know! The ideal times are 10:30am-12pm, and 2pm-4pm, but if you can’t make it for those times or can’t stay for the whole 2 hours let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

It’s a great excuse to take a break from work, and a chance to get a first-hand look at a pretty unique experimental gaming interface. You might even get some exercise!

More info on Propinquity can be found here: http://playpr.hexagram.ca/projects/?proj=2

Please pass this on to anyone who might be interested! Volunteers can email me at ckjong@mta.ca
