LEVEL UP Presents: Blender Workshop!

What:

Through the intricacies of efficiently and perfectly modelling a teapot, this introductory course to Blender 3D software will cover the basics to 3D design to model anything from scratch, as well as a crash course on rendering and texturing our model.

When/Where:

The workshop will be taking place on Tuesday, April  25th from 6 PM – 8 PM in 11.425 at Concordia University (NB: We may change rooms depending on the size of the group).

Participants must bring:

– Your own laptop with the latest version of Blender installed.

– A 3 button mouse.

About the workshop leader:

Marlon Kroll is an interdisciplinary artist and feverish maker, pursuing a BFA in Studio Arts (specialization: Ceramics) at Concordia University. His work considers contemporary nuances of representation and existence in a hyperreal/hyperconnected world, via a sensitivity (both formally and conceptually) to material and physicality. Professionally, he is a 3D artist at Jon Rafman Studios and a research-funding recipient at the Milieux Institute.
