Skahiòn:hati: | Rise of the Kanien’kehá:ka Legends, the game created during the 3rd installment of the Skins Aboriginal Storytelling and Video Game Workshop in the summer of 2012, has been selected for competition in this year’s New Media Category at the imagineNATIVE Film + Media Festival (Toronto).
We’re excited because most of the Skins participants are traveling from Kahnawake to Toronto tomorrow to attend the award ceremony: Towanna Miller, Lisa Montour, Nather Ayolmer, Tahte Delisle, and Lanc McComber. Owisokon Lahache (Skins community mentor) is already here, as are Skawennati and I. Charlotte Fisher, a key member of the Skins 2 – 4 production team, will be joining us as well.
