TAG Lab Welcomes Critical Hit!

Posted by Jess

If you stopped by the TAG lab this week, you might have been surprised to see all of the changes. We’ve moved everything around and brought in some new faces!

That’s because this is the first week of Critical Hit: Jam Factory! The lab has been transformed into an awesome jam space. Sixteen participants will be at the lab for the next ten weeks to blow all of our socks off with their game-making chops. For the first four weeks, they’re doing week-long slow jams to produce a variety of games that they’ll then choose from to polish for six more weeks.

If you head on over to the Critical Hit website, you’ll find some posts about the first day and our first participant interview with Tuuli Saarinen. Check back often to see more interviews and other updates from this summer adventure! You can also check out Critical Hit on twitter at @CriticalHitMtl and the must-follow list of participants here.

We are also extremely grateful to Jin Kim for taking these amazing photos of the first day. She has captured the spirit of curiosity and fun that is alive and well in the TAG space, and all of our good sides! Thanks, Jin!

TAG is so happy to be hosting this innovative and exciting undertaking over the summer. Don’t forget to pass by our 5a7 this week to meet the participants and play their games from the first week!
