Posted by Jason Begy

On May 8th at 11:00 am the mLab will be hosting Dr. Scott Nicholson, who will be presenting his latest work on Escape Rooms. This event is open to the public and all are welcome.

Location:
The mLab, FB 501. 11:00 am.

Abstract:

Escape rooms are live-action team-based games where players discover clues, solve puzzles, and accomplish tasks in oneor more rooms in order to accomplish a specific goal (usually escaping from the room) in a limited amount of time.   Dr. Scott Nicholson has completed a survey of 175 escape room facilities from around the world.   Join Dr. Nicholson to learn about the results of his study, the future of Escape Rooms, and how he plans to apply concepts of Escape Rooms to informal learning environments.
