The TAG lab and Concordia University will be hosting a Montreal chapter of the 2013 Global Game Jam, the world’s largest simultaneous game-making festival. The object is to pair up with fellow game-making enthusiasts to create a game from scratch over 48h that evokes a given theme. The GGJ is not a competition, but an opportunity to meet new people and experiment with original ideas and designs.

11h00: Deadline to create user profile and game page
12h-13h: Lunch
19h: Dinner
Sunday January 27th
9h-10h: Breakfast
12h-13h: Lunch
15h: Deadline for submitting games
15h: Teams setup play-stations for judges and other teams to try their games
17h: Judges give feedback and prizes, then closing speech

Global Game Jam 2013 | Montréal | Université Concordia
Le TAG Lab et l’Université Concordia vont accueillir un site montréalais du Global Game Jam 2013, le plus grand festival mondial de développement de jeu en simultané. L’objectif est de former des équipes ad-hoc pour créer un jeu original sur un thème donné en moins de 48 heures. Le GGJ n’est pas une compétition mais plutôt une opportunité de rencontrer d’autres enthousiastes ludophiles et d’expérimenter des designs originaux.
