Ali Kenefick, Hanine El Mir, Melina Campos Ortiz, Kregg Hetherington

Project Description

Making/Meat/Matter is a research project questioning the politics and complicated human/non-human relationships behind meat consumption through research, creation, and collaborative works with other human and non-human actors, culminating in a tabletop role-playing game.

Outcome/Findings/Hypothesis:

The primary research objective is to facilitate a playful space for players to confront ideas about meat production and consumption both in the game and outside in real life. The game acts as a vehicle for players to become more aware of the complexity of the systems in-play.

Game Type
