Starting September 5, the 5a7 Symposiums will be held every Wednesday from 5-7pm in EV 11.425 (11th floor, on the fine arts side of the building on the corner of Guy and St. Catherine’s) at Concordia University. As with previous years our first 5a7 will be a general meet-and-greet, so if you have never come before, now is the time! We’ll also attempt to throw together a list of volunteers who can help to oversee and organize the symposiums for the rest of the year, so if you’re interested in helping to make the magic happen please let me know and/or come to the 5a7 this Wednesday. Also, if you have something you want to present, a workshop you want to run, a project in need of a good brainstorm, a topic you want to discuss, or a fun idea you think we should try out send it my way. We’ll start scheduling events soon so the faster you send us ideas the more likely it is that you’ll get the date you want. My email is ckjong(AT)mta.ca.
