TAG RPG Night: Dungeons and Dragons for Beginners

Posted by mi

Hello TAGsters! This Thursday we’ll be hosting our very first TAG RPG night – evenings of tabletop adventure that are open to all of our members. To get things started, your friendly student representative (and unofficial game master) Michael will be running an introduction to Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition. Following a brief overview of the rules, players will progress through a series of micro-adventures from the Defiance in Phlan Adventurer’s League module.

Never played a tabletop game before? No worries! We’re more than happy to help you learn along the way. Seasoned veterans are welcome as well, as your sage advice will help guide the newer players at the table.

  • WHAT? Introductory Dungeons & Dragons session.
  • WHERE? TAG Lab (1515 Ste Catherine W, Montreal, EV 11.435)
  • WHEN? Thursday October 10, 4:00-8:00pm
  • WHO? All TAG members are welcome! Just make sure to RSVP on Facebook (or email Michael if you aren’t on Facebook).

Players are encouraged to bring pencils, paper, and dice (if they have them) to the session. You can make your very own first level character if you feel comfortable doing so, otherwise pregenerated characters will also be available. And if you’re interested in learning the rules a bit ahead of time, be sure to check out YouTube for tutorials!
