LEVEL UP with Anna Hollinrake! – Harnessing Emotion in Game Illustration

Workshop Series: Level Up!

TAG is happy to announce the revival of our free workshop series: LEVEL UP! In this old-now-new series we won’t just be learning foundational skills, but we will discuss the whys and hows of game making. Dive into these events with us to bring your game creation beyond the skills!

Join us on April 29, 2022 to “Level Up” your illustration skills with award winning art director Anna Hollinrake!

In this event, you will receive the knowledge and hands on skills needed to start doing the illustrative work for your project! After giving a talk about their work and using game illustration to harness emotional themes, Anna will help you harness the key visual inspirations for your work into distinct pillars and implementable moodboard.

The event will start at 1pm (EST) and roughly last about 2 hours. It will start with a thirty minute talk  followed by a question period and short break. Afterwords, Anna will lead a 30 minute workshop helping you design a moodboard that will keep your project focused on its core aesthetics.

What you need:

All you need is a laptop and access to any presentation software (i.e., Google Slides, Powerpoint)
