Travel funding for graduate students at Concordia: A lunch conversation

Posted by Mia

I’d like to invite interested graduate students to participate in an event this Friday, September 27, 12:15-1:15pm at the mLab. Irene Serrano Vazquez, a doctoral student in Communication Studies, will lead a discussion on how to successfully obtain funding for all of your conference travel needs. If you don’t know her, Irene is the most able person I know in finding funding to attend national as well as international conferences.

Lunch will be provided, although space is limited. Please RSVP to me directly by this Wednesday at 5 to ensure your spot.

p.s. For those new to the space, the mLab is located in the Fauberg building, room 501.

p.p.s. For anyone who is interested, I’d like to have an informal discussion after this event about Papers, Please. For more information on the game, head over to http://papersplea.se/
